Samsung refrigerator beeping also no water no ice

Samsung refrigerator beeping also not providing water or ice. Doors were removed to enter old house doors and reassembled. Apparently technicians didn't reassemble exactly right and magnet was sensing door open. Basically spliced sensor magnet wires together to bypass and now it works.

Warranty? I wanna buy the one with the display in it. But we gotta redo our whole kitchen first. But Im scared because of CHINA!! I'll buy the Best Buy warranty Had 2 PS4 controllers go bad and they gave me new ones 2 yrs later
