I think the capture speed setting is the one you want to change to eliminate the "shutter lag." The faster shutter setting doesn't really affect the processing the picture will go through, which is what "delays" the capture and results in blur. Gonna play with it.

I tried to download camera assistant in the Galaxy store before on my S21 ultra 5G but it would not let me. Thank God I have it in the Good lock module and the camera settings

1 thing that annoys me about the future of slab phones is its narrow aspect ratio. As for smartphones, 18:9 is the best aspect ratio between 16:9 and cinematic 21:9, like videos have been adjusted to 18:9, and 18:9 isn't crazy wide where it becomes uncomfortable to hold your phone and for people who prefer a one-handed phone smaller phones as an option. The problem with anything narrow than 2:1 is that when watching videos a lot of black bars and when u zoom in it cuts in a lot or feels like a Stratch.

Does installing the Assistant app significantly eat RAM or battery? The features are neat but the default camera app is kinda cool too. I would not want more disadvantages than benfits.

It's a small app to download. Doesn't hurt ram or battery lol. Facebook hurts more than this little camera add on

Nobody does. That's why every feature doesn't work for everyone. You select the ones that are of value to you, and ignore the others.
