props, this definitely helped me out, I took two tries the first time and now I haven't missed since. For anyone else, I am using the S20 5G and it's the same method. Make sure that your S20 is a certain type as there are many, but I know that the S20 with only the volume rocker and one side button, no bixby button or others, this guide should work for your model. If you are having trouble with pin not working you will only have to do the REBOOT SYSYEM NOW and you will not loose any stored info. Worked for me anyway.

No as it will go back to factory reset

Backup your phone to a computer or the micro sd slot first. Then factory reset and restore what you have on your computer or sd card. If you're locked out, there's not much or little you can do. You can programs that save stuff after its restored but the chances of getting everything are 0 and maybe some stuff is 50% (maybe. some.)

I have tried this but after I do the reboot and it comes back up mine says welcome I hit next button skip wifi and I never get the other prompts you get in your video it still asks for password. I've done this probably 10 times and same thing happens.any ideas?

That means you have to put the email and password that was on phone before a reset if its your phone

Hi. Try switch your phone off and plug your headphones in then go press volume up and power button together at once and keep holding unitl it takes you to recovery mode I hope that helps Thanks

If its asked you for email you need to put your email if you can't remember password then you have reset your password for your email if it was your phone
