No it won't but if the S22 is fully charged, connect the S24U first so the S22 will be charging it

Yes it did. But WhatsApp wasn't transferred with this method, I had to manually transfer WhatsApp. I did a video about that

Yes it does. If the phone you are copying from has SD card content you can choose from them too. However, the speed of copy of SDcard will differ from the inbuilt storage

Your old data remains. It won't transfer fingerprint for security reasons but it can transfer saved passwords

During the transfer the new phone has a download symbol, but after a while it disappeared. The old phone still says tranferring. Is this normal?

Yes, a lot of things happening in the background and you can continue to set up on the new phone. Only disconnect when the old phone says transfer complete

Very good i just GOT my NOTE 24 ULTRA , have to do the same with my Note 20 Ultra , i had to upgrade, because no more updates after JUNE for Note 20 Ultra , such as i still LOVIN the phone & work fast and perfectly

Note 20 Ultra Is the last Note ever made. You'll need to keep it in a special place or give it to a special person. That phone is still a beast.

You are correct. Android permissions keeps changing for Android version to version and OEM to OEM

I've copied all of my data from my old phone when I factory reset my old phone will that effect the copied data on my new phone sorry for the silly question

Unfortunately, it didn't copy their sign in details. When I opened it, I had to signed in again but the biggest pain for me has always been moving my Google accounts - I have quite a handful I manage and all of them have 2 factor authentication so it felt good I didn't have to do all that process

@SmartDepot awsome to know ,because Google claims it doesn't add Gmail . They claim you have to enter that separately? So I'm getting the new s24 ultra and by using smart switch it will add everything I need to start up new cell on current service as old cell phone correct?

Yeah. However, Smart Switch won't transfer WhatsApp to a new phone - thanks to Meta moving the storage location for Android 12 and above. So if you are moving from a device on < Android 12 to one higher WhatsApp won't transfer. You can easily do that by doing backup and restore on the new phone or manually transfer it. I did few videos about that

Strange enough...I connect the s24 ultra to galaxy S10 and the latter charger the newer phone...not the other way around

Connect the S24U first before connecting the S10 if it still happens then connect the S10 first before connecting the S24U and the charging will go the other way
