I got the S23 18 months back, and it's been a solid phone. Compact and does everything I need. I was thinking of getting the iPhone 13 or the S23, but I'm glad I went with the S23. It's got so many more features than the iPhone. Even the new iPhone 16 feels outdated and boring compared to the S23.

I love your comparisons. Thanks to your videos I know that I will always prefer Samsung. Thanks. I have another video idea. S24 US/Canada vs S24 EU because it is snapdragon vs exynos. And yes, there is a huge difference when they both record in 8K because of the inferior EU chip, the colors are completely off. It would be an interesting and unique video. Maybe you find a cheap used S24 from Europe to compare it with your North American phone?

You know why they’re both shaking you forgot to turn on action mode for the iPhone 16 and image stabilization for a video. I’m not sure what it’s called on Samsung but I don’t think they have it yet because as you can see here the video is still very unstable but I know if I show the iPhone has it inside the native camera app it has since the 14 I keep it on at all times so it doesn’t look shaky

iPhones cinematic video looks hazy 3:55 The hdr is bringing up too much shadows and it looks weird. It helps in low-light though.

Both are good and both have their strengths and weaknesses. I like Samsung, Apple and Google as phones . I don't view each brand as a competition as I could buy any of them 😊 i always use the EV slider on my phones as most mobile phone cameras tend to over expose, so definitely EV (-) utilized

@@GadgetRevNow nice One 👍 all phones are pretty capable. Sometimes auto mode isn't enough when it comes to exposure as the phone doesn't understand what it's looking at properly, so they need a bit of help from us with the exposure 😁

It doesnt look hideous just way too much contrast and HDR is almost absent. Some people may like it like that. But it is on par in details, resolution and dynamic range.

I dont run that much, so the stabilization of iPhone 16 is good. It has action mode but only 2.7k but still useable. I think for someone who vlogs daily, the camera control is easier to remember, I'm so used to it now, easier to dial white balance (tone), fstop, and zooming in. Also the audio follows the zoom, the farther the zoom the farther the audio picks up, you can easily vlog without a mic. The natural tone matches my Sony A6100 and A7R3 so I can bring this as c-roll cam. I basically want iPhone 16 for video so that's what I prefer. For someone who does NOT vlog that much, stick to Galaxy S24. Also you got additional clarity with the optical zoom, I cant remember how many times this phone saved me from wildlife shots. 👍
