@kiri3743 сағат бұрын
@@leonardopina379 Just for the trade ins I'm going for S25U. Even if I sell my S22U and put it toward the S24U, it would still be more expensive than trading in my S22U to Samsung for the S25U. After the trade in and vouchers the 512GB S25U would cost me $750 CAD.
@BourneIdentity4532 минут бұрын
Yea that’s the part I feel like they’ve missed, because they’re looking at it from the lens of “should you upgrade from last years phone” instead of “should you upgrade from a phone that’s several years old” and tbh I have last years phone and I’m upgrading but that’s mainly because of the an issue I’ve had with my s24ultra in particular with its usb charging, for some reason it decides to just malfunction randomly every few months which means I have to send it back to Samsung and they reset and phone fix the part etc but the fact it’s happened more then once has made me want to just get rid of the phone and that’s where the trade in promotion came in, I’m essentially buying the phone for 400 And getting store credit so I feel like for me personally I’m getting rid of an issue getting a new phone a couple cases and a charging brick all for 400. But I feel like unless it’s that case with the trade in value and a phone that is several years old unless you’re the target audience for the new phones then you can buy it if you want and if you don’t then that’s okay too. There’s too much of this kind of “I wouldn’t want to buy this phone therefore I don’t think anyone else should get the phone” type mindset instead of just showing the phone what it can do what it can’t do and letting the viewer decide for themselves

I've been an iPhone user since iPhone 3GS with an occasional switch to Android for a couple of months. But I'm taking my sim out of my iPhone 15 Pro and putting it in the S25 Ultra next week with no intention of taking it out again. I think Android does quite a few things better than iOS, things I care about at least, and that goes for OneUI 7 too. It's just very well thought out and actually a pleasure to use. Goodbye iPhone. You're a reliable companion, but the S25 Ultra is more fun and easier to be with.

AI is a whole big bunch of things. A lot of AI is happening on our devices in ways we don't notice. As for the rest, I think most people maybe have one or two things they use. The removal of S Pen Bluetooth functionality from the Samsung S25 Ultra, prior to the elimination of the microSD card slot, is deeply disappointing, particularly in light of Apple's strategy of enhancing its iPhone with features such as a dedicated camera button and mute switch. The rationale behind Samsung's removal of differentiating features while maintaining a comparable price point remains unclear. Furthermore, the equivalent trade-in value for 24 Ultra 1TB phones is inequitable.
@andriandri732Күн бұрын
Dedicated camera button and mute switch 😂😂😂 How's that a feature?!?!
@andriandri732Күн бұрын
You can you can dedicate all three buttons in samsung in whichever way you want, to do any function you want, including taking photos and one click mute?!
@Markus56165Күн бұрын
It's honestly a great phone. But, its the most meh upgrade ever. The most disappointing part for me is the battery size. This is the year where manufacturers are stuffing 5600-6000mah batteries in their phones and Sammy is just simply stuck in the mud when it comes to hardware. The design, battery size, charging speeds have been the same for years while others are so far ahead. I do agree that the display is head and shoulders above and every phone should be using some version of that anti-glare glass.

Great video! I do have the 16 Pro Max, but I have heavily considering going back to a Galaxy phone. This could be the one. There are some sappy little things I love with the iPhone like bedside mode that turns your phone into an intuitive clock that only shines if I wave my hand to see the time. ( I hate any light in the room when sleeping!😂) Also, everything about the iPhone is snappy and responsive and just works. And that across all of the peripherals. What are your thoughts about these things when compared with the S25 Ultra? I know some people might say, why not just stay with the iPhone, but I used to use the Note series and loved them (both with and without BT on the S Pen). Anyway, what are your professional thoughts kind sir?

OneUI 7 animations and fluidity are still not on iOS level. They are better than OneUI 6.1, maybe like 70-80% there, but still have to catch up. That said, eye candy is pretty much the only big pro of iOS, everything else is better on Android/OneUI. I have the S25U preordered. My last Galaxy phone was S10, switched to iPhone 13 Pro after it. The Snapdragon 8 Elite is worth the upgrade ALONE!!!!! How can anyone not know to buy it??? First, it has the fastest and best processor on the planet for phones, also the chipset and memory are much faster and much more efficient. It has the bigger, brighter and tougher screen (Gorilla Glass ARMOR II), with a brand new Digitizer and Fingerprint sensor, which are both more accurate and quicker. It also NOW has three cameras which can shoot in 8K, and a brand new wide angle lens upgraded from 12mp to 50mp. Also all videos are upscaled to 4K!!! It has a new speaker system, with much better sound, as well as a 40% larger and more efficient vapor chamber, which cools the phone even better during hard loads. So you get all of that, with all the AI upgrades, being able to shoot video in LOG mode, for less than $400 dollars. YES, you heard me correctly. Samsung is giving us a $900 dollar trade in discount, and over $300 in credits. So I got a pair of BUDS 3, and the Jet Black S25U for about $350 dollars. AND THAT IS WHY EVERYONE SHOULD UPGRADE!!! My new Jet Black variant will be here on the 30th! That's just two more days!!!

Well, till the moment this comment is being typed, i wasn't subscribed into your channel but now i am! To be honest, I've watched literally every review from channels like yours. Some agree with your opinion a lot, others, are not so close but in my humble opinion there are some subjective points for each and one of us and some objective that leads us to upgrade into a new phone or not. I think that it's important to say that before I've seen any of the reviews i had pre - ordered the GS25U from Samsung's official site because I'm an owner of GS23U, I've missed the GS24U intentionally (and from what i read/watch/see it was a crucial update in comparison with the phone i already have) in order to get the S25U at the early 2025. I don't want to make the people who read my comment to get sweaty so to make a long story short. I truly believe that Sammy has made innovation leaps in order to make their phones the best. Some key points to that : 1) The policy that starts to be a tradition using Snapdragon instead of its own Exynos worldwide. 2) The assurance that every flagship phone will get at least 5 (in many times even more) years of updates 3) The softer, smoother, UI, with ton of capabilities 4) More and more collaborations with different manufactures for its components in order to produce the best possible result I'm not either a fan of S-Pen (my first interaction with it was at Galaxy Note 4 many years ago) and now on the GS23U. Also I'm not a fan of AI features but to be honest with the speed the AI is rushing into our life, sooner or later it will be essential and for Samsung to be leading into this area from the moment that the majority of people doesn't depend on AI its a positive sign for me. The only truly negative for me it that the AI Features of the S25 series will come with a cost after the first 6 months (even its 1$ or 20$ i don't think that's right when you buy such an expensive phone). There are a lot more to say, but as i said the comparison between flagship phones of different companies for me its a clear subjective matter and sorry for the language more of a piss contest between I-phone Owners and Samsung Owners. The bottom line is that we're really lucky to get this amazing phones into our hands (lots of people cannot even afford them) and to explore there amazing list of capabilities. A little tip for people like me with phones of previous generations. If you have S24U upgrading isn't a necessary. S24U its a masterpiece of a phone and with One U.I. 7.0. coming in its way really fast to me there is no clear reason for upgrade. But if you have an older phone than that (S22U, S23U etc) i think that upgrade is essential. Last thing, to the video publisher, please keep up the good work Friendly yours a new subscriber Alex

The "Grain" people who saw grain where many didn't see it trashed the s24 ultra. I have looked so close and cannot see a problem on my s24 ultra... and I have been called blind and ignorant over it.

So Mark which to you like more s25 ultra or Oppo x8nPro?
@maheerazad1068Күн бұрын
I have the Galaxy s24 ultra, and there is one of the best phones that I've ever used. I've had every note since the Note 2 except for the Note 4 & 7. I don't use the S pen Bluetooth features, however, after all of the drama surrounding the s25 ultra and the lack of a Bluetooth S pen, I now appreciate my Bluetooth S-Pen a hell of a lot more lol! I don't use it, but just knowing that I have it and can use it whenever, the security is nice to have. I love that Samsung does these things that we don't really need sometimes, but they pack it into their phones anyway. That's what makes them so great. I am not going to lie, the s25 ultra in titanium jet black looks super slick! Thinking about upgrading just because of the color lol. What are your thoughts?

Losing the Bluetooth on S-pen was bad enough, now I find out there is no smart view cover case anymore 😢 I've always had that case since ages - a real loss 🤷🏻

I think with AI most people probably unknowingly use it but at the same time they wouldn’t go out of there way to use it if that makes sense. So because of that I feel like when phone brands like Apple Samsung google basically centre their phone launch around AI it not only makes customers feel like not much has changed but also feels like there’s less of a reason to upgrade because most of the time other than Apple most brands tend to give software updates for different generations of the phone. And I think that’s where the phone brands have lost or maybe not been given good enough data on the individual interests and want in a phone. Personally I want a phone that does several different things well, good battery good cameras good screen and has good connectivity/able to keep me in touch with people, I don’t use my phone for note taking or looking up restaurants I hardly really use maps because I learn where places are and just drive but I feel like AI does a lot of those background things that phones do and I feel like we’ll appreciate that the more it’s expanded upon but at the same time I’m not sure we’re ready for that to be the main focus for phone or want that to be the main update for phones when there’s other things that can be done

Great video as always, but I think the real comparison should be between the s25 ultra, and the pixel 9 pro xl, and the OnePlus 13. Apple people are apple people Android people or Android people. I think anyone cross shopping this phone are going to be cross-shopping it with other Android phones to be honest. The real review is how does it compare to the other top Android phones.

Is it software from the phone or the actual pen it's self that does not accept Bluetooth anymore? Would it be possible to swap/buy an s pen from last year's model and make it work?
@stephenwilshaw632921 сағат бұрын
The pen, it no longer has a battery in it and the phone no longer has the pen charger in the slot where the pen clicks into.

As a consumer you can switch to another company if you use the BT Spen if you’re due for an upgrade. I’ll consider it. Samsung ruining its OG fan brand. But they don’t seem to care.

I think it 6:25 nice, I'm using the fold 6 and love that, the s25 ultra having the s pen. Slot is great, the Fold 6 doesn't. Great video thanks, love the new look very similar to iPhone I have a 15 pro Max and love it too..well done.😊

Note 10+ from launch for me. The back is starting to come off, the battery's about had it, and the speaker is pretty distorted. Oh, and the power button is coming loose. Loved the Note 10+, but it's time for an upgrade. S25 Ultra looks pretty great from that angle. Also, it's looking like Samsung will be selling a Bluetooth version of the S Pen at some point. May or may not be worth it for some.

Ios18 is the worst os version apple has ever released on iPhones. Glitchy and laggy, slow, app crashes, no cell service issues, modem problems, overheats on my iPhone 16 pro, and the list goes on and on! iPad os and Mac OS are incredible! But iOS 18 has made me preorder the s25 ultra and I’m done with apple for good in terms of their smartphones! I normally carry both an android phone and an iPhone but I think those days are done

Samsung removed the Bluetooth capability of the S pen to keep cost down because they realized a very small percentage of people were actually using that feature. Me personally, I’ve never used the Bluetooth feature. People use that feature to take pictures when you can just put up your palm to take a selfie and it takes the picture
@ffigun.945 сағат бұрын
Yeah, altough it was situational but very useful when you needed it, like when traveling or taking pictures from afar, you put the phone in a tripod and shoot a lot of photos with the pen
