Is there a way to disable the sound? We bought it to monitor our dog when we are not home but found out our kids are using it to spy on our conversations. We would love to find a way to disable the sound!!

Yes. Hit settings, video, microphone, then slide it all the way to the left for no microphone.

Hi, can you use these indoor cameras outdoor as well?

I use them outdoors mounted to the soffit. They have no ip rating so they need to be covered. Soffit is ideal.

I have the original SmartCam and I can no longer connect the camera to my internet. It seems like its not supported anymore

I came here because mine is not staying connected to the network. Have you had the same issues?

Rarely but yes. It seems to just loose connection for no reason. 2 Things - first, try using a different power adapter with at least 2.4a instead of the 2.0a charger supplied or at least another with at least the min 2.0a. Next, i have an asus router that lets me remotely connect via app and i can reboot it from there. This always brings the Camera that fell off the network back after reboot so your not affected if your not there. The different charger took care of it for me 95%.
