I can't open the speech menu with my headphones.. I've tried a few different ones, but the button just makes a beep.

I have the same problem. Tried with with Pixel Buds A Series and with Wyze Headphones, both that I confirmed can normally access Google Assistant on other devices, but neither can bring up the speech menu when connected to the SM-T377V like at the 1:36 mark. Any workaround found yet?

A factory reset that I did at the end of the video would erase any Spyware that might be on the device. The app I downloaded in the video isn't Spyware but a factory data reset would erase it if it was. Good luck! 👍
