Just got the 65 in yesterday for my Xbox one X. If you go into TV settings and make the game mode brighter its perfect. I keep it in low lag game mode, but custom it with brightness with the new shadow feature.. Turn it to positive 5 and bam. This tv is beautiful on Xbox one X, playing Warzone and madden 21.. When you use apps preloaded it lags and you can't change picture quality. So use your xbox, ps4 or switch to watch your movie apps. No lag and you can make it bright or dim to your liking. Also, make sure color is on cool..Hdr is beautiful on this once you set it up correctly..

If there is one thing that I have learned about tv reviews is that you cant trust everything you hear and read. My wife bought me the 65inch TU7000 for Christmas as a backup to my excellent LG B10 OLED and I will tell you that this tv is not as bad as alot of reviewers have said it is. Build quality is excellent and since it uses a VA panel the blacks and contrast are very very good not to mention the the colors. Does it beat OLED? Hell no and its not fair to compare any LED tv to OLED because OLED will beat it every time. Is this edge lit? Yes it is and Samsung implements it very very well as they always have. HDR isnt very good but its passable and since I watch alot of SDR movies ect it dont phase me one bit. Then you have the sound. Now it isnt 7.1 but here again the sound is very very good for built in tv speakers. I have the 2021 TU7000 and I am very happy with the tv and when I get my B10 all setup with my full surround sound Atmos system my 65inch TU7000 will be moved to our bedroom because there is no way I am getting rid of this tv because I am loving the hell out of it.

Just picked one up at my local Bestbuy. I was debating on this or the newer model that added an additional hdmi and maybe few apps. The Bestbuy associate mentioned these differences; which I couldn't justify spending $100 more when they're the same operating system and only what I mentioned. Honestly, I couldn't see huge difference comparing with the OLED Samsung that was mounted above this tv. I know it doesn't compare, but the picture was amazing

I initially bought the Sony x900h and had at least 5 separate issues with it within 3 weeks...Final issue was a complete green screen... I Ended up at BJ's and picked up the Samsung 7 series (700D version).... Half the price of the Sony, only a 60 hertz panel, no local dimming or zones... HOWEVER, I couldn't be happier! One major issue with the Sony was the panel having dark corners, something common from what I've read with full array local dimming tv's. This Samsung has NO dim corners, very bright (reviews said it was dim??) Sure, the Sony had a great image when it worked... Bottom line is I saved half the price and very satisfied with Samsung!

ok, just got the TV. Many people are complaining about the Brightness. The brightness is fine!! Samsung has changed the setting from "brightness" to "shadow Detail" and "Gamma". IT is fine on hdr also! Most people don't know this and don't change it. It's as bright as my last Samsung TV's (Curved 6 series, TCL p8). And the sound is great, best I've heard on a TV, plenty of bass. I got the TCL and it was awful, the sound was the worst (had to have a soundbar), the colors are so bad with hours of calibration (check the reds on any TCL), it was laggy when on the ps4, the sound was out of sync on youtube, the sound was delayed when using Bluetooth headphones. it was also very cheaply made. The HDR on this TV is awful. Anything slightly in shadow is presented as jet black. Well lit scenes look excellent but dark scenes are barely watchable. Increasing shadow detail doesn't help much, nor does maxing out PWM settings in the service menu. This is a particular problem for games when moving into dark areas. I got by in TLOU2 because you have a flashlight, but I've had to turn off HDR in Ghost of Tsushima because I can't see anything at night or inside houses. I'm really disappointed and I'm surprised reviewers aren't highlighting this issue more.

I just purchased this Samsung 2 days ago. Bestbuy was out of the LG 65" I planned on; so sticking to an under $700 budget, I was seeking the Vizio, but disappointed seeing in person. I couldn't believe the picture on this Samsung 65" was so vibrant & gorgeous viewing. Hopefully this helps

It is listed as motion rate 120, which I assumed meant a native 60hz panel. But then I looked at the 8000 series, which in previous generations has been motion rate 240 (120hz native) and it threw me for a loop. So is the entire TU lineup 60hz panels or are they all 120hz now?
