I always used smart select as a quick way to take a cropped screenshot, the new version makes it alot harder to do that as I have to draw around something, resize the selection, then save it, and the resizing is less precise. Overall, I wish I could just use the old version

Good news. I hardly ever use smart select, and i never used gif creator, am happy it's back for people who do.

I wish I never updated ): They got rid of the ability to smart select something and draw very specific boarders around objects... I'm SO sad... I used that for so many things ): now it just makes a generic square or rectangle. I can’t control exactly where I want the border of the item I wish to pin to the screen 😭

I have a big issue with this because they didn't just remove a feature. They actively replaced it with something slower, less useful, and more annoying to use. Dont fix what's not broken. They could have added their new one as the default and added the old one to goodlock or the Galaxy store, but no.

You can edit that with Good Lock ..I know it sucks that's the only way but hey 🤷🏾‍♂️ At least you can

@tucool2c the Good Lock module is Lockstar....at the bottom there is an option to toggle on Always on Display Auto-Brightness. Ive been using it since they took that away.

@jspring86 often use smart select to copy text, primarily phone numbers etc and didn't think it would have been removed from the S22 ultra🫠🤣 also only caught that you said it'll be back soon, is there a date?
