Hi, I have got my Commercial Distribution Seller status but I cannot add an Android app. The site asks me to apply yet for another status. The problem is I cannot have a DUNS number because I am an "Individual entrepreneur" in my country, not a company, we have no rights to ask for a DUNS number. So how can I add apps / get a Corporate commercial seller status without a DUNS number?

@@Ludger15 Most simple is Amazon Appstore, Huawei Appgallery also works but has drawbacks. Google is very good, if you pass the registration process the price is worth it. And you need DUNS only for certain fields, like finance and couple of others.

I encountered the same issue unfortunately, I had to delete the seller portal and Samsung account and make new ones then when you get to step 3 and click on the email link it should give you the option to select commercial status without using DUNS this worked for me there many be alternative methods or you may be able to rectify the issue by contacting Samsung support directly. Also sorry if I'm a bit late.

I've created my Samsung developer account and requested for a Commercial Seller Portal (as it seems it's necessary for publishing apps, however my apps are free!) about 3 weeks ago. But I didn't hear anything back from Samsung and my Seller request status is still in progress!!! How can I find out any problem with approval process?? Is there any way I can publish my apps on Galaxy Store without a Commercial Seller Portal? The panel noticed that there's no need to be a Commercial Seller if you wanna publish Free apps.

awesome videos! Thanks! Only thing I haven't figured out yet, is what if you want to just make a watchface for yourself and not upload it, can you just export it and use it on your watch? Also, what if you want to upload your watchface for free, what are the steps you have to follow for that? :D

Glad you like the videos! You can create watch faces for yourself and export to your watch without having to upload to the Seller Portal. You just connect your watch to your computer via WiFi. You can read how to do this here, developer.samsung.com/galaxy-watch-design/studio/tutorial/test.html However, regardless if you want to publish a free or paid watch face, you will have to apply to become a publisher in order to upload your watch face to the Galaxy Store.

Galaxy store has lot of potential but things like commercial seller is mandatory to support basic functionality like IAP makes it harder to do publish apps and it never gets approved even with paypal. And also third party payment gateways are not accepted. Why?. You can make getting seller status easir and faster or allow 3rd party payment gateways

Yes, on the App Details page for your watch face on Seller Portal, click the Advanced button. Then, in the Copyright Holder field enter your brand name. If you use this field, your brand name will be displayed instead of your personal name. You will have to do this for each of your watch faces.

When adding your app to Seller Portal, click the Advanced tab and then scroll down to the Copyright Holder section. If you add your game studio name here, this is what will be displayed on Galaxy Store, not your real name.

If you are having trouble creating a Seller Portal account, go to the Developer Support page, click on the Developer Support box and submit a Support Request. You will be asked to log into your Samsung Account. developer.samsung.com/support

In order to terminate (delete) an app you must first suspend the app. To do so log into your Seller Portal page and click the "Suspend" button for the chosen app. Once the app has been suspended, a button to terminate will appear. Just click that button to complete the termination of the app.
