Ok. So this video got my in 😢 tears. Why...when I was a boy my daddy made me cut my yard and the old lady's yard next door to me. He said I am not going to pay you and neither will she. God will pay you for the rest of my life. Well both dad and the old lady are gone but when I was on Hospice care a few years ago about to pass away in my home I was so proud of.. I was awaken by the sounds of my neighbors cutting my grass. Every week this went on and to hear those mowers gave me strength to recover and comfort. The men in the subdivision cut my grass because they knew how much pride I took in my yard and it was the right thing to do as neighbors. At 50 yrs old my dads lesson came back to bless me over and over again and when I look back ( btw I healed to 100%) and that year I was down my family never needed one dollar and to this day we have never wanted for anything. New house, cars, healthy kids etc.. God continue to bless the guy that made this simple gesture the world appreciate appreciates your kindness! Thank you for reading

I love doing this for some of my elderly neighbors! It is oddly satisfying and it gives a person great joy to feel like you've been a blessing to someone. We had a neighbor who found herself widowed after nearly 60 years of marriage, her husband had taken care of the lawn up until he died but she was on a fixed income and couldn't afford a yard service. We saw her out one day trying to mow her nearly half acre lot with a rickety push mower that kept dying on her. My spouse and I walked over and told her not to worry--we would take care of her lawn from now on free of charge. We mowed her lawn for five years until she passed. The look of joy on her face was all the payment we needed. God bless you for doing this for your neighbor.

It’s heartwarming to know there’s people like you. I’m partially paralyzed, diabetic with a broken neck and back. My husband left me. I live in an HOA so I have to maintain my yard myself often. That was great! What a good neighbour. It is very frustrating to watch the grass grow when you can’t cut it yourself or afford to pay someone to do it. I have three acres that have not been mowed or worked for a couple of years and the forest has overtaken it. I used to have many rock pathways and flower beds that are now sadly overgrown. I enjoyed your act of kindness.

This video popped up in my recommended, glad it did. You're a good dude for helping someone out with such a chore. A few years ago, following an early retirement from law enforcement due to line of duty injury, I healed up, bought a new Grasshopper zero turn, straight shaft Stihl trimmer, and picked up a few yards to make some extra money, and I really enjoy mowing and take a lot of pride in my work, and a handful of times I had the opportunity to help someone and always did what I could. It's a great feeling! Then... divorce, had to sell mower and truck to cover attorneys fees, find myself renting a place, no mower, grass balls deep to an astronaut, and struggled to find someone I could PAY to mow it. Good times. Great video, great work. Thank you.

It's great to be able to help out like that and even better when someone appreciates your help. I tried to help out my neighbor's when they were away on vacation, their grass was getting overgrown in the yard and it was obvious that nobody was there and I was worried someone would notice and try breaking into the house if they thought it was unoccupied. I went over and cut their grass for them , when they got back , they called my wife and asked if I had cut their grass and said they didn't want it cut again because they felt I was " encroaching on their property" .

Good for you! Stepping up to help a neighbor... not many will go the distance for their neighbor. My son and I cut for six years. Twice we cut an overgrown yard though they were not as tall as this. That is not easy as you'd think even with good BIG equipment. You sure made that yard look good.

Looks good man, nice work! A method I've used before in overgrown situations is to do a once over with my deck at transport height and then do a double cut in two different directions. Seems to chop up and disperse the clippings really well. Not picking on your job, looks good, just sharing a tip from one Sam to another.
