Thanks for posting these. I enjoy how you do most of your work with just a hand hammer, and how you explain your process as you go. I often pick up a few little things from watching. One thing I recently picked up at an ABS intro class was that if you need to straighten your blade while beveling, you can heat the blade, then lay (just the) edge flat on the anvil and just slowly rub the hammer along the other side to draw out the heat from the edge. Once the edge is at a black heat, you can then put the blade edge up on the anvil and straighten out the bend. Since the edge is cold compared to the spine, you'll get very little edge deformation this way.
