Man, when the JoJo anime came out in 2012, I really felt like I discovered something special. It was both action packed and surreal in its strangeness in a combination that made me laugh out loud! I felt like I was part of a rare group, and as I read the manga and played the video games, I laughed at the bending over backwards they had to do to avoid problems with American copywright. Fast forward to now, I saw a guy with a JoJo tshirt on at the airport and at least three people complemented him on it. Don’t get me wrong, I like that it’s so successful, as it allows for increases in quality and support for Araki, but I kind of miss those “buried treasure days” when I felt like I was a rare American that actually knew about this story that was so beloved in other countries. Whatever… I wish the show the best, it’s certainly a bizarre adventure for any viewer!

the concept of part 2 and the pillar men fascinates me like with the table showing the food chain, how vampire are above humans and the pillar men are above vampires. now imagine where that put humans to the pillar men. as far as they are concerned humans barely exist. i think its like vampires are like sheep to them and humans are like the grass eaten by the sheep. now imagine you saw a single blade of grass fighting back against the sheep and eventually it energizes its photosynthesis into sun kung fu which hurts you and this grass rapid aproaches your level of strength. this is basically jojo part 2. Ceasar, Joseph and Lisa Lisa literally jumped up 2 places on the food chain

Honestly the original version by Taku Iwasaki is already epic and perfect so this was a very challenging cover. My "Epic Version" is by no means better than the original and I never intend to make it better. I just simply did my best to make it a bit different and sprinkle my "Samuel Kim" sauce. I really hope you like it. I got one more Battle Tendency Cover and I'm taking a break from JOJO.
