I think this movie did an amazing job of introducing Shang chi into the mcu and it’s been a while since a marvel movie blew away my expectations. I have a soft spot for hand-to-hand combat/martial arts so this is easily up there with my top favourite marvel movies. I cannot wait to see more of Shang chi in the future!

I thought it was, good, and everything was pretty, but I think the Dragon fight kind of ruined the father-son plot lines momentum and effect on the audience, washed it out too much.

I watched the movie last night and I have to say this is easily one of Marvel's best movies. Everything was so well balanced and every character got their moment to shine. This is how you introduce a new character into the MCU.

7/10, movie was WAY better than I thought it was going to be. While I found the story a little derivative and the sudden raise in stakes to world destroying creating tonal dissonance, I thought the acting was great, the cinematography was sublime, music goosebump inducing and probably the best fight choreography in the entire MCU.

For me this movie is an 11/10, absolutely loved it from the martial arts, the ten rings themselves, Wen Wu and just everything in general, definitely my new favourite Marvel movie thus far
