The thing about the Prequels, especially ROTS timeline, is that it plays out very much like a Shakespearean tragedy. Everything about it is tragic. How useless it all was, the Clone's free will being taken, the Jedi destroyed, Obi Wan losing everything, Anakin losing everything and becoming a monster.... Very tragic. But with a glimmer of hope at the end. George's six films really tied in together very well.

Alternate timeline: Order 66 is enacted, the Jedi are wiped out. But the grief of what they’ve done overrides the biochips and the GAR rebels. They attempt to arrest Palpatine, obviously that doesn’t work. But what happens next? There’re barely any Jedi left (the galaxy hates them anyway), the Republic/Empire has no leader and a rouge military and the most powerful Sith Lord and his apprentice are on the loose.

I always like how the normal Troopers (who were meant to kill Jedi's) seemed to like them, or at least felt neutral toward them, but Alpha's, ARC's and Commandos laregly disliked the knight's, or even despised them, but quite many of them (considering the number difference) disobeyed the order.
