Both belong to an ancient order that protects man from the unknown, they’re both named the white wolf, they’re both morally grey characters who do what’s necessary to protect those closest to them, both of their professions are looked down upon, and both died protecting those considered subhuman or nonhuman; with Jon Snow dying after attempting to save the free folk and Geralt being stabbed in the gut by a pitchfork while defending the nonhuman races. I’m not saying they’re 100% copies of each other but there’s definitely similarities that no one can deny.

Jack Doyle I was going based off both the books and the shows,and the A Song of Ice and Fire books definitely fall into the dark fantasy genre, without question. Even the show has a lot of dark fantasy elements.
