By right of combat, honor, and blood, Revan was entitled to be Mand'alor, especially so considering some fanfiction portrays him as being born Mandalorian, with there being speculation he actually was. And, the Mandalorians, when not being perverted by the Crusaders, are very much akin the Samurai. I mean, Canderous and Mira are basically Ronin.

Fortunately for him, at the very least others truly finished his job. Though is still somewhat hard to believe that your own OC character could defeat someone like the Dark Emperor (for example; the Hero Of Tython), when characters that are supposed to be leagues ahead of you in EXP and general combat power cannot.
