@@Ratrix Yes, That's the way I understood it. One problem to watch out for is if the owner goes into default. Remember he still owns the property and may or may not have a mortgage or other liens. You might be sinking money into rehab, on top of him collecting your lease pmt and he might not be paying his mortgage. I have purchased property at the courthouse steps at foreclosure sales and the tenants living in a house with a lease/purchase agreement didn't have a clue. They had given a hefty down pmt, paid their monthly on time and fixed the place up (thinking it was theirs and not a rental). Maybe there are ways I'm not aware of the guard against this...Worth checking into. Maybe in the lease the owner agrees to send a copy of the paid bill monthly to prove its current. Don't forget about tax liens as well. These videos are fun and educational to watch, but definitely don't highlight some of the many pitfalls.

The most moving part of this for me was Glen letting his negative self-talk come out from the shadows into the open, for everybody to see. It's that moment where he's starting to accept that the most intimidating obstacles are not in the pieces of paper in front of him or the contracts or all the stuff to arrange or take care of, but in the thoughts inside his own mind telling him, " you can't do this, you don't deserve this, you aren't good enough, this is way out of your league", etc. It's inspiring seeing someone come face to face with the most persistent obstacle, and to recognize that it is their own mind. And I love the fact that just a few days later when speaking to the investors, he was so beaming that you could see the smiles on many of the investors' faces. They were right there with him.

It's the strangest thing, how life works. Been digging myself a deeper hole for a while. Started to work on myself daily, only for a week or so. Oh my... Glen, the scene in which you talk about overcoming your own "personal mountain" resonated with me SO deeply. It is so STUPID that we are scared to do deals when we know it is the key to the kingdom, but seeing you so raw and honest just makes me feel like I'm not alone in that feeling and I am so grateful. I have been following Samuel for ages now - I went to his crash course in March 2018 and I still haven't done a deal for THAT reason! What even is that fear? Samuel, I watched this video with great interest, and the content was very watchable. However, when picking a 'poor man' maybe don't pick someone who descibes themselves as a successful internet marketer. You claim to be transparent and honest with people, but with this video you are pulling the wool over peoples eyes somewhat. This chap has been successful previously, he admits in another youtube video to having a business that turned over $1m through online sales. His house isn't a poor mans house, and his patter would lead me to believe he's very well educated. He has spoken at seminars before. He has been involved in online interviews before. I've tried to give as balanced a view as possible on this video here: There's value and education in this video for sure but for anyone chomping at the bit to get involved - a bit of caution and due diligence is advised. That doesn't mean being a nay-sayer or stomping on other's dreams. It just means recognising this video for what it is - an advert for Samuel Leeds' course which if you want to get really involved requires significant financial investment. I wouldn't say this is quite the rags the riches story the documentary pertains to be - there's a previous business relationship between Glen and Samuel. Certainly this kind of thing can be done but it's not a case of £0 to £8000 in a week. Often these things are presented in the package of helping people (think MLMs) and they can actually help you long term build wealth. However if it's too good to be true...etc. There will be significant time and financial investment required. If you're willing to invest this then there's some great advice and practical deal-winning tips in here. Certainly not a video to overlook, but flip side, not one to take at face value either.

If you want a real challenge, I'm currently homeless in a tent after a really bad experience with a really bad landlord. Hearing this guy open up about fear and mental blocks...
