In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using the Samurai skull with his intended purpose: one shotting bosses, but this time with the power of Strike! Samurai is a character who has existed for a long time, and pretty much unchanged. His gimmick is as he uses his basic attacks he builds up a debuff on the enemy that makes your Single Slash, Samurai's main attack, deal more damage the more debuffs the enemy has attached. When he's at legendary he has a meter that builds up as you attack, and when maxed out it changes his Single Slash into Full Moon Slash, an attack that does far higher damage and always crits. This alone is quite powerful, but when made even more powerful with the Strike inscription, and even further Strike+, the damage this attack can do gets out of control. However, as I often say when playing this character, Full Moon Slash is a little gimmicky in the sense that one shotting bosses is gimmicky. Sure, it's fun to do this, but the character has to have more going on for him than Full Moon Slash to be good, and thankfully Samurai does with the unevolved form, Single Slash. Single Slash at legendary can fully reset it's cost if you use it on an enemy that had the max amount of debuffs attached to it, which makes it consistently spammable, and Single Slash's power while not on the level of Full Moon Slash is still absolutely a heavy hitter with little investment. So, our goal here is to try and maximize the potential of Single and Full Moon Slash to deal so much damage that, if we're lucky, we can even one shot a boss. Joined by Dominator, can this dynamic team of powerful speed skulls show these fools what's giga good?
