I'm so glad to see you guys return & react to these last episodes. The bearded samurai is Kagetoki Kariya. And he is instrumental in this story. You will find out full detail in the next episode. And yeah; in this episode they mentioned that he was once called the hand of the gods. Such was his brutality & precision with the sword. His sword skill is not just par with Sara. I guess you could argue; for the first time Jin & Mugen are facing off against a proper master. That's how skilled he is. As for the 3 killer lunatic assassin group; well they are professional killers. I guess; Shogunate sent two teams to deal with the issue at hand. The next two episode are just top notch. And I can't to watch them with you guys.
