I'm curious about something. I know you're not playing optimally but when you'd swapped the Buddha and the paddy field on your turn to prevent Jen claiming a second rice, instead of using your 4 Buddha could you have used a Samurai to grab it?

Sorry, I meant to put the times in the original comment; blame it on lack of early morning coffee. Swap is at 11:34; and the Buddha tile placement at 12:20.

just looked and yes i could have done the same the samurai, and that would have been a wiser move :)

7:04 The game ends when the last figure of any type is removed, not when all figures are removed. Rulebook: "When the last figure of any type (High Helmet, Buddha or Rice Field) is captured from the board (by either a player or set beside the board because of a tie), the current player’s turn is finished and then the game ends. The game also ends when the fourth figure is placed beside the board when captured due to a tie. As before, the current player’s turn is completed and then the game ends."

Great runthrough - thank you as always! How long does it take on average to play two players game? Since Jen is very analytic player it probably takes quite a bit?
