That is also the reason why FD, LD and WWD are sucking and MD is a great game. This game... has potential.

Been playing it for 3 days now. My advice: unless you're REALLY into these kinds of games wait a few months. Building options are still limited, nothing regrows yet, farming isn't in yet, and there's still a lot of bugs. It only just released in early access after all. Give it a few months. If they keep to their road map most of those things should be added/ fixed by that time. That being said, I'm enjoying it. The graphics are beautiful when if it's still poorly optimised. And the stuff that IS in the game works for the most part, even if it's still kinda clunky.

Another classic Drae video. Game: "This is how you do everything." Drae: "I DON'T UNDERSTAND! WHERE DO I GO? WHAT IS THIS FOR? THIS GAME TELLS ME NOTHING." It's grating at this point. As is the voice. Subbed originally because there are a lot of games on this channel I've not heard of and Drae has turned me onto some nice survival/city management titles. I basically watch these on mute now. Not trying to be cruel. Just brutally honest.

Drae... The season change thing said that you can change seasons at the bell after 2 days, but if you leave it alone you can stay in the current season for 5 days before it automatically changes the season.

not a lot, i got to play it a bit after my friend offered to let me on his account for a bit cuz he could no longer refund it, it's barely even a game at the moment the map is pretty small, i managed to walk to the other side within an ingame day the further you stray from spawn, the less food you will find making survival extremely difficult tools break so fast, you can only cut down 3 trees and get a bit of firewood out of it, and you need to cut like 4-5 trees per house you gotta build NPCs don't actually have daily yield from their jobs, it takes an entire season to pass before you receive that which means that if you got someone on foraging, tough luck you still have to find your own food for days on end or skip to next season when you sleep, and NPCs aren't in bed yet, they will be exactly where they were when you went to bed after waking up, meaning they will go sleep in the middle of the day other parts of the map are also not rly worth building on IMO and the charred village is pretty much the best spot it's actually not worth the price they charge for it even at release discount

Adze is like a sharp Hoe for debarking, but you can debark logs with just an Axe, too, so, it doesn't really matter... then there's the draw knife... and one more tool I don't remember, it's basically a "peeler" or a scraper or whatever... and of course you also have a sawmill, but that isn't done manually, so, yeah... Also funny is that a pickaxe is a "pick-adze" - a pick + adze... like, minecraft is full of lies, man)

Every impulsive & improper use of "assume" (or variants) since Drae seems to have a fetish for that word (or a lack of confidence in his own knowledge) -Drae assuming a campfire and stick shelter on a beach 5 ft from water for a temporarily injured friend is a "temporary settlement" -Drae assuming he needs to go the village that Ako tells Drae he needs to go to -Villager telling Drae the bell tower is the hub of the town to which Drae later says, when told again, "okay so it literally is the HUB" -Drae assuming the first VILLAGER he spoke to in the VILLAGE that he helped repair because their VILLAGE (which that VILLAGER lived in) was destroyed would be his FIRST RESIDENT - Bish, he lived there before you came and decided to be king of them, of course he's a fkn resident -"How do I assign people to work? yada yada yada [none of this information text telling me how to assign workers is important to telling me how to assign workers, which includes saying that I NEED STORAGE for those buildings, I'll just look at this example image that shows an example page for one specific job] I NEED MEAT AND STICKS....oh hm I can't do this yet I think I need storage." -Drae says "change season", clicks button & changes the season then wonders if he _literately_ changed the season, despite the informational text he read (in it's entirety, literately, amazingly) telling him that's how to change seasons. yes i know he wanted to extend it not change it but he literately read "change season", said "change season" then clicked "change season" instead of looking for anything else how to extend current.
