Kusaregedo is one of my favorite character from Samurai Shodown V. As he is basically inspired by a yokai or spirit called Gaki. Which are spirits who live in horrible torment and are afflicted with constant suffering. They look vaguely human, but they have distended, bulging bellies and tiny, inefficient mouths and throats. They inhabit a parallel realm called Gakidō. One of the main characteristics of the Gaki, is that they are eternally hungry and thirsty. However, no matter how much they consume, their hunger and thirst are never sated. This is somehow a punishment for the sins they committed in a past life. Specially the ones related to gluttony.

@@solomonvalkenheim6694 Tiene que compensar por sus golpes lentisimos de excesivo rango y mucha exposición al cubrirtelos el oponente. Este Yokai tiene muchos golpes en lo que torpemente se cae luego de darlos. Es un ejemplo perfecto de demonio en constante sufrimiento, con cero tecnica de pelea y fuerza descomunal. Y si te ponés a analizar bien, el agarre giratorio del monje con el collar, saca más energía que el agarre de Kusaregedo.
