Poppy was playable in SSV but in her arcade mode ending it was revealed she sacrificed her self to save Galford and which the Poppy who traveled with Galford in SS, SSII, SSIII, SSIV, SS:Sen, SS64, SS642, and SS: Warrior's Rage was a grown-up Husky/Akita mix-breed who was the puppy/daughter to the original Poppy.

Yeah, just a few exceptions where the characters were radically different. Like this game has 2 different Nakoruru's and still Rera from the 5th game.

Now,if only Earthquake,Gen-an,Wan-Fu,Sieger,Cham-Cham, Nicotine, Mizuki, Yumeji, Sankuro, Yoshitora, Andrew, Enja, Suija, Ocha-Maro, Sugoruko, Gaoh, Rera, Mina, Kusaregedo, Yunfei, and especially Rasetsumaru had separate styles. I would love to see them have split personalities, especially with their super moves.

Yeah, bring some older designs back like Wan-Fu with his Sword from 1 or his stone pillar from 2 for example. Or Kyoshiro before his muscly redesign where he'd be a bit more trickier to hit.

It depends on what gauge you choose. Toy Transformations were in the 2nd Samurai Shodown, so you could choose that. Or customize your own which is what it looks like I did with the roman numeral eight. Think custom grooves from CVS2.

+beyondthegraveXL It was something that debuted in the second game believe it or not and can only be accessed either using that groove or making a custom one that includes that, like I did so I could access the rest of the moves. As far as I know, it's just for the lawls. Or in my case the feeling of carpal tunnel cause a lot of them are REALLY hard to pull off.

This was just a compilation game and the theme was about Festivals so not sure if blood and gore would've fit. I don't know, just trying to see it from SNK-P's point of view.

Yeah I don't buy that statement either. This game brought everyone back, kinda like MK Armageddon. It just has the unfortunate timing of being the game after V Special, which went so far with the intense violence, the game brought in literal Fatalities. I still enjoy this game for the roster and the callback to SNK "Engrish". This game takes that and makes it legendarily "Engrish" at times.

SS1 was made with "soul". Characters like Nakoruru were true in SS1, from there, they fucked her turning her into a otaku's stuff. SS1 was serious, from SS2 it turned into a circus. They taked that spirit in SS3 and SS4, but from 4 began that Mugen crap. And they ended in that maid crap (Iroha) that doesn't fit in a swords game. Money corrupts everything. The good thing is I still can enjoy the 1 version on Mame and say: "Fuck SNK Playmore and long live to the original SNK!".
