So....the three new characters are Ieyasu's future wife, one of Hideyoshi's early underlings and Shikanosuke Yamanaka. OK, so far so good. Still. I expecting at least Niwa Nagahide or even Yasuke to be part of the new roster due to their importance to Nobunaga's life.

Still fingers-crossed that a Young Koshosho will still appear but if not, Sena looks like a great alternative. Shikanosuke looks like Toyohisa Shimazu in an Oichi themed outfit but he’s cute though.

Glad to see Ryobei back in this game. Hanbei looks a bit older than his SW3-4 design and Kanbei looks much more "healthy" lol With Shikanosuke join the cast i wish we get to see Mori's clan back to this game. And glad to see Ieyasu's wife (Sena/Lady Tsukiyama) coming to this game. Heard she is also related with Ii clan so i also hope to see my favorite girl (Naotora) back.

Okay soo 1.sena is a total babe and is ieyasu first wife so her ending (spoiler will be depressing) 2. Kazuuji looks soo cool and another male ninja is surprising since i thought it was only gonna be hanzo but still cool 3. Shikanosuke is kinda surprising but he still looks nice but he reminds me of sakon shima from the sengoku basarsa 4. Hanbei is the cutest little soft boi bun we stan a genius baby 5. Kanbei since he was old and creepy and gloomy in the games when they made ieyasu one of the most beautiful bois ive ever seen i just knew kanbei in his youth was gonna be hot but not hotter than my husband tadakatsu. I cant wait to see ranmaru and i hope nene and naotora li is in the games too

The five characters are great especially the new ones. With the introduction of Shikanosuke Yamanaka, I think it's possible to have Takakage Kobakawa back as well and (maybe) an introduction of another influential Mōri underling... I'm not sure Motonari will be there since he was already dead when the Mōri clashed with the Oda. 18 revealed, 9 to go, so here are my predictions: Hanzo Hattori (he's in the trailer, so we just need to wait for the official release) Hisahide Matsunaga Nagahide Niwa Tsuneoki Ikeda Nagayoshi Mori Masayuki Sanada Takakage Kobayakawa Shingen Takeda Kenshin Uesugi Honorable mentions: Tatsuoki Saito Kazumasu Takigawa Yoshinari Mori Koroku Hachisuka Naotora Ii Kagekatsu Uesugi Yoshikage Asakura Yoshiaki Ashikaga Fujitaka Hosokawa

Apparently they’re only semi-clones. From what somebody told me earlier you can equipped different weapons on all the characters similar to Dynasty Warriors 8. Everyone has exclusive skills and their normal attacks are the only ones that are the same.
