I played and finished Nobunaga's story first, Sandayu being the puppeteer felt like it's out of nowhere. When I played and finished Mitsuhide's, it finally made sense. When you look back at it, every late game battle with Sandayu in it had something going wrong for Oda. I didn't notice it at first....

Koei first explored the idea of third party involvement in Honnoji back in SW4-II, with Hisahide. They expanded on it here with the Iga Ninja as the rebels way before Honnoji. But when just playing Nobunaga's story straight on, you only see the surface of it. This, alongside various side battles and Mitsuhide's story made the storytelling aspect a huge plus.

From the entire series this game is the weirdest. From the historians perspective it is said that Ranmaru Mori was loyal to Nobunaga and yet Nobunaga once said to him during the Honnouji Incident "Ranmaru, Don't Let Them Get Close to Me" thus Ranmaru Helps Nobunaga Commit Seppuku later he follow him. But why did Yasuke had his back now? It is said that Yasuke was his bodyguards while Ranmaru was his loyal retainer and yet he didn't appeared on this game Screw Koei for destroying the real history.

Still missing the second half of the story -- Hideyoshi, Ieyasu, and Yukimura. They're still missing, and I'd like to see their new iterations.

Are there sub missions that change the ending/unlock a different version? Just wondering, haven't bout this one yet. Though I will say I'm not a fan of this Nobunaga design. Prefered the old one much more.

There's Mitsuhide's perspective of the story (that extended to Yamazaki), and the hypothetical scenario.

You unlock Mitsuhide's story after finishing Chapter 3 and unlock the first set of what-ifs and different sides of past battles after finishing Nobunaga's story. The second set will unlock after you finished Mitsuhide's. Unfortunately, the sub missions doesn't change the outcome of the story itself. Would like a branching storyline like DW8, but the execution of the story itself is good enough for me.

Don't waste your money on Berserk. Only 9 characters in total, good gameplay but not worth it. One Piece 4 though is and the dlc characters are worth the price. Other than that any DW or Gundam Warriors and you'll be set.

Yes you can. As soon as Nobunaga eliminated the Azai and the Asakura, he grew his magnificent beard. Chapter 5, to be exact.
