I've prayed many times in my life, "God cleanse me" not realizing the weight of such a prayer. I've been guilty before of praying this prayer with a predetermined method of how God should cleanse me.
In order to be used by God fully, we have to break away the sins that hold us captive. This is a process I've been undergoing recently and it's been very bittersweet. Bitter to my flesh and my pride, but sweet to my soul and my faith.
Sometimes we don't even know the sins that are holding us captive and that's why we need to be aware of how God is bringing to light the sins that are trying to ruin us.

I’m praying God will remove the sins I’m not aware of - or that I’m fooling myself into believing isn’t sinful. Sadly, the latter one is the likely stronghold - I’m actively hoping it’s not sinful, but if it is, I pray God will help me get rid of it, because I’m honestly scared of sin. In a different area, He’s been helping me catch myself regarding how I treat people, which is definitely on the petty and selfish side at times. And I’m so thankful He has been pointing these out to me, so I have the chance to try and improve. Truth be told, I do think getting out of retail will help with that - remove the temptation to be wrongly irritated by customers. But Him just teaching how to catch myself is a massive blessing. I still would like to ask for prayer regarding that potential stronghold. It’s something that I’ve tried to take the sin away from, and I feel like I’ve mostly succeeded, but I just. Don’t know if the core action is sinful or not. And yes, it is complicated to explain here, which is why I’m being so vague. Just… pray for me please.

Im trying again to live a righteous life without sin as much as possible. Tonight I couldn’t breathe for 100000time in my life. Wow brother! Just Wow! I recently found your channel. This is the prayer point we had today in the church meeting during fasting and prayer and After we prayed I wondered what and how God is going to do that. I never had this perspective before. Truly a blessing! God speaks all the time and He always shows Himself even in ways where He enlightens things I've read from His Word. On the other hand. A verse that came to my heart is God disciplines those He loves. And I just smiled. Being washed is indeed painful but it's all part of the process. Your discernment is incredible bro! It sucks that we even have to beware of people who preach in the name of Christ but that’s the reality of where the world is right now. I had a serious problem with 🌽 and masterb8ing. It lead me to have horrible fantasies and desires. Truly twisted. It was disgusting. I’m realising how truly horrendous it is and hope to never go back but it scares me that I don’t feel worse. It was disgusting and it was evil and wrong and I’m worried that I don’t feel TRUE remorse or loathing for such horrible sin. I do regret it obviously, I do hate that I ever did that, but I’m worried I’m lying to myself or I don’t hate it enough or that I’m not more shameful. The Bible says in 1st John 1:9 if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to Cleanse us from all wickedness. It’s necessary for God to cleanse us from our sins. Because God can’t use dirty vessel’s to bear his name. If we aren’t cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, what good are we in God’s sight? We certainly will not inherit the kingdom if God doesn’t cleanses us.
