That's odd, the back of the Samus Returns box has the Zero Mission ship, even though it was destroyed. What is even stranger is that in game the ship is the Metroid II/Super Metroid/Metroid Prime 2/Other M ship.

I've seen things you wouldn't believe. I saw a Mario-Rabbid crossover in the middle of E3. I saw the number four glitter in the dark of the greatest title card. Im a weaboo im reccomending the metroid 3dsXL. After time i think the picture won't bother you. The mario screens are smaller but metroid is a cinematic experiance. Hope that it works out for you man.

You know, it's nice and all that Nintendo went to these lengths to commemorate the revival of a once dead franchise, but it really can't compare to the love AM2R's developers have for Metroid. They toiled through 10 years to release a product of pure adoration for a franchise Nintendo had largely neglected back then... And free of charge too! I realize that Nintendo reviving the franchise themselves is of much more significance to most people, but I really hope AM2R isn't overshadowed by this game and forgotten because of it.

I was starting to regret only pre-ordering the regular edition and not the special but I see I'm not missing out on much. I wanted the soundtrack but wow, I can't believe there's only 4 songs from the game on there while the rest are from previous Metroid titles I already have the soundtrack too. Ah well. I'm really hoping I can get my hands on these super awesome amiibo without having to resort to scalpers on ebay though... :/
