I do not understand why Chidananda was called for this discussion...he tells that he does not watch television...he does not tell anything worthwhile....he tried to play an etymological game...KEN was superb though

+venukannur ...sir you seems to be a so called 'intellectual'' may be that's why you didn't understand what swamiji said.He tried to explain in common mans language that nowadays media trying to propagate there own views on the issues that are happening around us.and swamiji never said that he didn't read newspaper which still is also media . Am not favoring swamiji so don't call me as sanki .KEN was also superb and gave the idea why the media behaving like this...

Chidananda also did not tell that he did not surf internet, use facebook and twitter, so he must be doing it. Since he is a philosopher, he must have an opinion on everything and it is worth hearing. I found him superficial, naive and ill-informed on the topic of discussion, that is all. You are definitely not a Sangi and that means one less trouble.

+venukannur KEN is bullshitting all the way. His main point being "media cant be unbiased" is not true at all. He says "MOOLA DHANAM" controls media but the thing is that anyone can acquire the so called "mooladhanam" with hard work and create a news media which can be truly unbiased in all sense. KEN said Internet is controlled by somebody. May be he don't know how internet works ! any sort of controlling measures can be bypassed one or another way even the great fire wall of China can be bypassed. Similar is the case with social media, It can be spied but cannot be controlled fully. The point being that the Internet has all sorts of information's both right and wrong, good and evil. It depends on how we Identify which is which. Another point I noted is that he used the word "AAL DYVAM" and that shows how shallow is his knowledge regarding the subject. In hinduism every human being is a potential aal dyvam and it entirely depends whether he wants to practice the techniques used by the sages to become aal dyvam ,enlightened or whatever you want to call it. He may seen as an intellectual due to his ability of using fancy words to decorate utter rubbish that he spews.

Sreekanth Rajeev along with the use of 'aal deyvam', there was the conspicuous absence of mentioning 'organised religions' which have WAY higher financial/political capital (lobbying) and media presence. Still not done with the video - but find KEN unneccesarily verbose.
