Caput medusae, oh that sounds interesting .. "let's google it" says brain ... 30 secs later.. oh dear, nightmares! When boxers and UFC fighters get a direct hit to the part of the liver that isn't under the rib cage, they say the pain is one of the worst they've ever felt and many fold over or black out due to the pain. Could you explain why that might be?

Very educational thank you ! Also, I was wondering, do you think learning anatomy on cadavers is less useful than plastic models? Because I find models more efficient in delivering information to students yet I have to study on a cadaver in my university. Thank you
@SamWebster2 жыл бұрын
There are lots of ways of studying anatomy - cadavers are amazing and have all the anatomy (we use them too), models are clean and colourful but don't show everything, and computer generated models are clean, show everything (ish), but are not stereoscopic (most of the time). If possible a mix of these things plus textbooks plus someone to explain it all to you seem to work best for most people. It still takes a lot of study time.

These videos are great. Can you let me know what models you are using? We would love to add this and some of your other muscle models to our program but not sure where to find them.
