I wonder why Sam was embarrassed when he was asked about his girlfriend? Sam usually seems to try and be honest about what he says. So maybe he has a girlfriend??? I was hoping for a different reality....Sam and Yu seem to have real feelings for each other but maybe it is just acting. Well, I feel like the situation is probably more complicated than we know. He does have (or had) a girlfriend. They could have broken up or be going through a rough patch because they have been separated by the pandemic since last year. We don't really know their story. I understand that he would like to keep his love life private, there are somethings that is better kept personal. As for Sam and Yu, I also feel like they have genuinely caught feelings for each other (I've definitely noticed signs of attraction), although there is also a possibility they are projecting the emotions of Gao Shi De and Zhou Shu Yi onto each other. Regardless, how they handle their love lives isn't really our business, so we shall just enjoy their lovely chemistry.

Yes with the pandemic I also read that they have not seen each other for over a year due to Taiwan's restrictions and the girl lives in Malaysia. That is irrelevant. I notice even when they think nobody is looking they are both gazing at each other. Sam doesn't like anyone touching him, which you can see on many videos for the exception of YU. He also doesn't like it when other people touch YU. These two have a special bond. I believe their bond right now is very emotional, you can also tell by how many times Sam kisses YU and hugs him even though YU is not ready for it and is surprised, because there are so many people around. YU does the same to Sam. They are always touching each other, even when they do not have to, so I really do not think all of it is fan service. I genuinely believe in some capacity over time and being so close to each other they have formed some kind of feelings, but in what capacity is really non of our business, but the hope will always lay in the minds of the fans. YU also said he does not mind being called Sam's wifey. (who wouldn't) I just wish them the best for all and any endeavors they have next.
