We camp there for a week every thanksgiving and every time I go to sleep in my tent I plead it doesn’t happen while I’m sleeping. I guess it would really matter when It happened but I hope we are all ready to run 🏃♂️

Haha yeah I get that. There is some good news though in that the type of movement on the San Andreas is lateral and not vertical so you don't often get conditions that cause tsunamis. Honestly you might be safer camping there with nothing above you than in a building miles away

@@PoopyArchaeology I didn’t think about that! Good point, there’s also really well thought out evacuation plans for tsunamis in that area if one did happen. Lots of high ground. You could probably watch it from elephant rock ;)
