San Angelo (TX) severe thunderstorm 26 May 2014

Severe thunderstorm moved through the San Angelo area on the evening of 26th May 2014 (Memorial Day). Copious amounts of rain fell, accompanied by up to quarter dollar-sized hail.

A weather video shot from a STABLE, unmoving camera! No wild swings, nothing out of focus, no running in & out of doors, no looking through windows completely obscured by rain, no jumbled shots of a hand picking up hailstones and holding them - just a clear and unimpeded record of the storm. Now if only all the rest of the amateur videos were just like this...

Now that is a severe storm! Too many of these vids are 20 minutes of dark clouds and little else. And you didn't ruin it with a lot of talking. Nice job.☺

When stationed at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, I went through 2 very big hail storms. I was on my way with a friend to see "Tootsie" when the first one hit. After the movie we get back to base and hail was in piles everywhere. The next morning I was amazed at all the dead birds from the storm. Mostly marble size fell. Oh and I experienced a big dust storm there too. Awesome place.

Milwaukee here has its share of severe thunderstorms here too ! I love thunderstorms dont mind them being severe unless they are on the too severe side !

Depends on what part of the state youre in. Eastern Texas including Dallas and Houston get a lot of rain.
