I used to go to the church that’s now in the pear apple county fair building and space & went to that church when we first moved into that building… for a while the pear apple county fair sign was in the back & I would see it every time my family drove in the parking lot. ❤

This truly made me sad. I went to a bday party at Malibu in the 80’s, the in the late 90’s took my kids to a few bday parties. And now it’s completely gone. 😫

Hey, friend, thank you for the video. I grew up going to and seeing each and every one of these places. They are still so clear and vivid in my memory, but then I realize how much time has passed and it hurts. Seeing others who share the same nostalgia, as sappy as it may sound, gives me a sense of comfort since my old town still exists in their memory as well. I stumbled across your video because I am a 3D artist, and have been trying to gather references for the old West Lakes area specifically so I can recreate everything as accurately and true to life as possible as it looked in the 90's, with the intent of exploring it all with a VR headset. I wish I had a time machine, but I figure such a project is the next best thing.

That would be so cool !! I use to go to west lakes in the late 80’s as my dad worked at hair crafters and I would go play at the arcade while he worked
