San Bartolomeo al Mare and Cervo , Italy (Liguria)

San Bartolomeo al Mare is a small town in the western part of Liguria with historical finds from the Roman era. San Bartolomeo al Mare is also an ideal holiday destination for all those who love sunshine and beaches. Public and paying gravel beaches in San Bartolomeo and Mare stretch almost the whole town. San Bartolomeo al-Mare is a famous holiday resort. Its infrastructures are considered among the best ones in the entire Riviera. It was formed by two medieval villages named San Bartolomeo and Rovere, and it is a popular place for summer holidays. It is a lively place in the summer thanks to the array of hotels and accommodations available, including apartments and campsites. San Bartolomeo al-Mare is the perfect starting point for excursions into the mountainous hinterland.
The first things that strike you when entering this town to the west of the River Steria are the bougainvillaea hedges, the geraniums and orange trees lining the avenues and the aroma of aromatic herbs. Summer visitors can swim in the sea or the swimming pool; among the many amusements are water sports, horseback excursions, tennis and archery. Along with the simple country dishes of the inland areas, you can try the fish and seafood dishes served in the seaside restaurants.
#Cervo is a pretty village on the Italian Riviera coast of Liguria in north-west Italy, near San Bartolomeo al Mare.
The village of Cervo is a captivating collection of houses on a hill near a small rocky beach. Your time here will mostly be spent leisurely strolling along the steep, winding, cobbled streets. This pedestrian area has ancient stone houses, small shops, and galleries. Additionally, you can observe part of the original defensive walls constructed in the 16th century to safeguard Cervo.
If you continue to climb the steep streets, you will eventually come across the splendid church of San Giovanni Battista. It is situated above Cervo and boasts an impressive facade, a prime example of the local Baroque architecture. The village also hosts the prestigious Annual International Festival of Chamber Music, with its outdoor performances attracting many enthusiasts each summer.
