I grew up in Oregon snow and rain is a normal thing . If it snowing hard or if it’s raining hard stay in doors it’s common sense . My ex wife wanted to go skiing on Christmas and new years during a blizzard storm around Lake Tahoe and mammoth mountain many years ago and I told her it’s a bad idea because if a emergency happens we”re going to be stuck there . She went anyways and the group of friends she went with got injured on Christmas Day they had to wait until January 2nd for medical services to arrived the rangers even pointed at the signs that it’s dangerous to go up that mountain and won’t be able to reach you for medical emergencies and they still went and all she did was cuss out the medical team saying they been waiting since December 24 for help to arrive . I just looked at her like I warned you and I told you that’s why she’s my ex wife now . I might be stupid at times but I’m not stupid enough to die with her .

😢 goodwins market in crestline mountains roof completely collapsed. That grocery store that provides thousands with food and essentials is no more. This is the biggest story of 2023 snow storm. Residents are asking for the national guard. You must tell this story asap.

I feel what he says when the residents aren't the priority, streets that get plowed twice a day didn't get plowed at all still till this moment. But the biggest up side to this is that the power didn't even once went out especially during the Blizzard when other smaller storms knocked the power out for days.

It's been crazy snowing up in Mammoth mountain and it's not got to that point up there over 200 plus inches there's a difference between the two areas figure it out those who can pay to play and those who cannot that's what's happening to Big Bear this is a test run not just for that are but all areas for state control whenever they deam it necessary for no movement just like Covid-1984!

I live in socal but regularly come to Tahoe and Mammoth. The infrastructure here isn’t built for this much of snow. This isn’t common for us but for you guys up north it’s just another Tuesday but I agree they need to be better prepared

I would question where they're putting the chains on because it looks on initial glance that you will wear your chains out on the dried wet pavement And then have loose Warren chains when you need them actually

County supervisor Dawn Roe and the County board of supervisors subcontracted the majority of this snow plow work in efforts to save money year round and utilized our resources for frivoulous vanity projects AKA the walkway by the river ; Dawn Roe has made no public appearance or has informed the public of emergency services to be had. It’s time the news report the FACTS and name names ; SUPERVISOR DAWN ROE HAS FAILED OUR DISTRICT; my 67 year old neighbor is nearly starving - there is no food , buut they did escort 6 SCHOOL BUSES. To retrieve students from a camp. I HEAR LAWUSIT BELLS

I was snowed in for a week when I lived in Lake arrowhead. It was great! I lived at the lake arrowhead Hilton for a week ; free. All the employees did! We had our pic of three different four-star restaurants to eat at for free. In a villa, down on the lake. Jacuzzi, fireplace….. Lifeguard during the day,(heated pool and outdoor Jacuzzi‘s) Bartender at night. Oh yeah!!!!
