Glad you had such a great time Nate and got a trilby to mark the occasion. The hotel was amazing. I have seen it many times on the outside. Lovely boy I can honestly tell you older times were not romantic unless you were wealthy and even then, as now, but more so then, money couldn't buy you everything. I am a 50s child and life has changed out of all proportion. My father born in the 1900s and my mother in the 1910s , but I don't want to rain on you parade. I was fortunate to stay at The Del & have their champagne brunch on Sunday morning.. it was SO AMAZING! I have never eaten so much in my life, since it was a buffet before the pandemic! I did the same thing that you did.. look at the shops, the lobby & wander on the beach… it is truly a phenomenal place.. thanks for taking me back, Nate!!

love seeing you in San Diego. You might not know but there is a dog beach on Coronado Island just a little north of Hotel Del just before the Naval Station. Its so fun we went with my daughter's dog and she loved running around on the beach and going out in the water..

I live in Coronado and the Hotel Del is one of the great, classic American Resorts, although a lot of people in town complain about it, forgetting that it is a private business whose job it is is to generate revenue. Native San Diegan and yes Hotel Del is extraordinary. The hotel is famous for her beauty but also for being haunted by Kate Morgan. I almost stayed in the room that is said to be haunted but I chickened out being too young and by myself at the time of the stay! Great vlog Nate 🤗

The Del is the best hotel in California! If you stay there, stay in the original Victorian building with the old elevator. I stay there when I visit San Diego, off season its not quite as expensive.

The Hotel Del is one of my faves! I stayed there for a week in summer 2007. There is also a haunted history there you should read up on and I had an experience while staying there. That didn’t deter me though - I definitely want to go back for a stay there! Also, I love the return of the fedora.. so fedorable 😂

San Diego is one ☝️ of the most gorgeous, beautiful weather cities in the country, magnificent. I had a friend play OG for the Chargers we went to some fascinating bars, restaurants & clubs. The ocean 🌊 is beautiful. I’d move there but I’m stuck in Chicago.

Great video! The Hotel Del is historic. I stayed there once about 20 years ago. The hotel prices are always higher during Comic-con. You can always book an early bird hotel and take the Comic-con shuttle to the convention. It will save you tons on Uber/Lyft. Hopefully, you'll make it to this year's con.
