They feel comfortable too like the 235 bus ride from downtown S.D. to Escondido. I had a blast riding that route on the HOV lane. I also rode on the 225. I’m gonna try out this route once the construction is complete by 2024.

You can actually ride it right now. I’ve seen a large number or rapid route 227’s at Iris avenue. Although because there is limited electric buses. They currently use normal buses along with some rapid electric and non electrics. But if you’re waiting for the HOV lanes, I completely agree with that. But just saying, you can ride this right now.

I love MTS new suburban XE60, they look comfortable

More action at Iris Avenue would be cool to see, as these XE60 buses are starting to become the future of MTS Rapid. I’d also keep an eye out for more of the new 1900’s Rapid buses on the 235 as well, since there’s now rumors of the 1100’s retiring and being auctioned off elsewhere.
