I lived across the street from Rockys in the late 80's. Every Friday i would get 2 lunch specials, one for me,one for my dog. Drink both beers while waiting for the burgers. He only git a couple of fries. Total was $10-11 for both plus tip. Also back then Crest Liquor, across the street, had a nice deli counter. Nothing more than $5. Times have changed 😢

The best burgers in San Diego are at Hodad's. Every year they vote on the best burger in town and the top two are ALWAYS Hodad's and Rocky's. I'm partial to Hodad's since they're located in my hometown area of Ocean Beach...

Epic food day! I'm very lucky that my little town has a good-sized Hispanic population. While we only have 1 seafood restaurant and 2 pizza places, we have 4 Mexican restaurants. U should check out Carls Jr. The double western bacon cheeseburger is hands down the best in San Diego. As far as Mexican food , go to any taco shop in the ghetto and make sure there is graffiti in the hood. As far as Asian food, Clairmont has a bunch. But the best Asian food that's underrated is Filipino Food. National City has the best.
