When you no longer can even call a pass play at the end of the game because you no longer have a QB to throw, you know its over. It was over the first drive when the Niners lost Purdy. From that point on everything just unraveled for the Niners.

Last year, I did not think Hurts was going to be the Eagles Franchise QB . He was very inconsistent & didn't seem to have great passing accuracy. But all the reports coming out about him on the Eagles said he's one of the Eagles players doing the most to improve himself, working on his accuracy, watching films, studying the playbooks I was completely wrong about Hurts, and I have never seen a QB improve so much in a single year, in just about every facet of his game.

He was literally taking what the defense gave him and not forcing anything for "numbers", which is where players like Dak Prescott get in trouble. It sucked that it wasnt a fair matchup by the 2nd half, I knew that Defense was only going to be able to hold on for so long. @calbundy5125 The 49ers? Yeah (other than the Eagles) they're definitely the biggest barrier to the Hawks making a deep playoff run in the NFC this year. Our rivalry is fun but very physical and intense with a lot of trash talk from both the players and fans LOL! At least I can say that their brand new stadium is one of the most generic and soulless in the NFL! At least the Eagle's stadium is rocking with a fantastic atmosphere!

@@ssessie it’s not cap, the commentators will always mention this game for our next few meetings, which are quite rare considering we only ever do in the playoffs really. The players also will be going into the game remembering what happened last time, and it was a messy game at the end in terms of player conduct. 49ers will play with a vengeance whenever we next play them.

I know it may be overlooked in this game but let's take time to give props to the offensive line. These men eat! Not only do they keep Jalen upright but they make running lanes the whole game. A special shout out to Lane Johnson. When I first heard he was gonna put off surgery I said "there's no way he finishes the post season." Not only is he finishing it but he's doing so dominantly. This man had Bosa give up on a pass play in the first quarter. First Ballot HoFer.
