Micah the vibe in San Fran is so much different than in LA when it comes to the 60s music scene. The sound was entirely different between the two cities. I love the music from the 60s and how it evolved into the folk/rock sound of LA and the psychedelic sound of San Fran.

These are not glamour neighborhoods…there are no bridges, Telegraph Hills…but much of the population actually lives there. Fog is common. The housing in the Richmond is big, roomy old places. Sunset was largely built by one developer, but the houses have back gardens…andif the orientation is right…it is warm enough a for good garden. This video is filmed in a way where it doesn't show that everything is closed and out of business, but notice how there are barely any people instead of the usual crowds everywhere. Alioto's and Fisherman's Grotto were historic restaurants that are out of business for good. Below them, that whole area with awnings, had vendors that sold all kinds of seafood from fried calamari and fish, crab sandwiches, etc. but it was all mediocre-tasting and I stopped buying it after a few disappointing tries. All of those vendors gave Fisherman's Wharf its vibe. Watch Metal Leo to see what a wasteland San Francisco really is and the people are in denial.
