RESPECT! For an insightful, honest and from the Heart response to a team and fan base that I personally respect! MLB is now and has really ALWAYS been a class-based system. The Haves, the sometimes have, and the have-nots. I respect the "lower tier" teams: (Rays, Royals, Brewers, Tigers, etc.) who compete with EVERYTHING they have, year in and year out! I remember when Buster held his retirement press conference and it was the first time I was gutted about a player retiring because it was such a shock. Now he's back in press conferences as the President of Baseball Ops...as he said, all is right in the world when great players are on that field and all is right when he's leading the team. @scottschwerdtfeger6189 I remember being truly shook when Buster left us. It was the end of an era. But I was wrong. Buster is back in the biggest way. What he did for us on the field he is now doing in the front office and I stand as blown away now as I did watching him play. There is nobody like Buster in all of baseball. We are so lucky he is a Giant. The greatest Giant of all time.

Zack has been with the Giants since 2019 and Willy only joined Milwaukee in 2021. Minasian wasn't there for Willy's time in Milwaukee, but he was there when they brought in Burnes.

One of the best signings in many years. Now hopefully another bat with decent defense and a solid starter (at least a #3 level). I doubt the Giants will compete for the division title, but a solid Wild Card spot is reachable. If they add some top line talent, we can hope for more than a .500 record.

We, along with the franchise, have been through some rough times, but the greatness of the San Francisco baseball Giants is not tarnished by a decade of struggles. And while we don't know exactly what the future holds, the signing of Adames and Chapman signifies a vision. We now can see where this team is going, and being the loyal fan base we are, we are all about it. We have hope for a better future. A great future? Maybe friend, just maybe......

Personally, I was SO HAPPY to hear Willy mention Tyler Fitzgerald! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Fitzy! I believe he's a potential Gold Glove winner, an MVP and a future Hall of Famer! I said that about Will Clark when he started...I was a few years wrong (perhaps), but Fitzy reminds me of that type of player...POTENTIAL...as far as you and I can see! The only bad part about this press conference is that the jersey is still the obnoxious 2024 template. The name on the back is still too small and lacks the gold drop shadow (there shouldn't be names on the home uniforms to begin with btw). Also the comically thick piping and birthday cake yellow tint. The home creams used to look much classier and understated.

Willy, burnes and tucker sounds pretty fucking nice around the already team the giants have. especially if we give up something like schmidt and beck and roupp as pitchers i say pull it. Comes down to Burnes. i think if Giants get Burnes they pull the tucker trade and your now looking at a team that looks better than most of mlb and basically even with the rest. Account for Eldridge keeping pace breaking next year or after next. Marco becoming a utility power bat and where donyou see a bad person in the lineup. I think Zaidi did good job and made great moves at times. But not going all in on Bryce hurt us bad and thats on him. Not trading Snell this year and Rodon the year prior were bone head mistakes. The prospects we could have for those two guys are just unimaginable and that. More than losing is probably why hes gone. Losing was going to happen. But Rodon amd Snell would have netted giants easily 2 top tier prospects and 3 or 4 other good ones. But Hindsight a doosie and now Posey gets to make it happen. Odd year magic anyone.

Snell was good but he can't pitch more than 5-6 innings which taxes the bullpen. Dodgers will find that out soon

Losing Snell's arm will sting for a bit, but losing his prima donna attitude won't hurt at all. The cocksucker got paid more last year than all the people commenting on this video combined will make in their entire working lives, but he decided to sit out his last start so it wouldn't hurt his trade value.
