Lil D in his interview spoke about how his downfall started to happen, when he decided to buy a brand new Maserati, while he was still in HS. He said that decision made the OPD keeps their eyes on him, but decided not to bust him till he was out of HS. JB made the same mistake, expensive cars, flashy clothes, same mistake is mentioned in the American gangster movie.
