I also suffer from brittle nails, so need to use picks for fingerpicking play, which restricts the downward strokes and hampers hybrid picking. Still, I try! Again watching with astonishment to your new cover. As usual you find the way to reproduce the ambiance of the original sound by playing positions of chords which give the desired ambiance. You are so accurate with "For those who come to San Francisco" with particular attention to chord progression having specific variation Em Am C | G Bm D . You know, there are easy chords but you don't fall into the simple progression. You do play them in positions that reproduce the magic sound of Scott McKenzie in 1967. The bass makes it and contributes efficiently to the reproduction of the magic sound. Love your work.

Amir, you said in your notes : "what a lovely and enchanting tune" .. I couldn't agree more. It is the most glorious tune .. John Phillips was an incredibly talented song writer. One of the very best. His songs were so unique, had their own feel .. were different to the work of any other ... A lovely performance .. you and Lital go right into a song, have a level of involvement, immersion, that many performers don't have. The "All across the nation ..." passage in this song is such a beautiful moment, is such an important part of this song, bringing a new energy, a freshness, like the rays of the early morning sun ... Lastly, the 'flower power' sunglasses were just the right touch. I thoroughly enjoyed this, Amir and Lital. It is impossible to not look forward to your next upload ...
