San Hima Towing Mirrors - 100 Series LandCruiser - Install and Review

We get sent some San Hima extendable towing mirrors from Vic Off-Road to put to the test on my 100 series Land Cruiser.
We give our initial out of the box review, show you how to install them before we tackle the Gibb River Road and close out with a final review.

Great video mate. Not sure if you noticed where your red reflector was on door trim, but all doors have them you can replace them with the curtousy lights and should have the wiring there to do it too. Great for lighting at night when your doors are open. 👍

Cheers buddy, i used to have little LED strips in there for that purpose but they broke at the start of this trip. Should get around to replacing them

Great video Mark and Clem just letting you know that my parents have given our LC200 Series and Caravan back to my Uncle and Aunt after travelling down south for 6 months. Todays Questions Q1 I have just recently bought a 2009 Ford Territory GHIA AWD and I am going to be fitting a Bullbar, Snorkel, Roof Rack, Awning, UHF Radio and Towing Mirrors on it and some of the work is custom made where as the snorkel is from a PK Ranger and the Bullbar is from a Nissan GU Patrol and since the Bullbar is 6 FT 4 Wide and the Territory is 6 FT 3 Wide do I Have to Cut 1 inch out the Bullbar and weld it back together at all or will the Bullbar fit on the territory Q2 I am also towing a 2.3 TON 2005 Compass limited edition 20 FT Caravan with a double bed, shower, toilet, kitchen, awning with wood trim in it and 2 x 50 L water tanks and 2 x 9 kg gas bottles and I will be travelling with my dog and my mate along with my paddle board and kayak on the roof rack and will I be overweight or not

Hey mate. Glad you enjoyed the video. To be honest I can’t answer either of those questions. For question 1 the best place to start is maybe a facebook group for territory owners and see what others have done, im not sure of legallity of cutting and rewelding a bullbar is. Question 2, its hard to say without all the weights associated, the van will have a compliance plate stipulating the ATM and GTM. Then the territory would also have a GCM to take into consideration. Beat way to approach this is organise for a mobile weighing company like “safe2tow” to come out and weigh the car and caravan for you then you will have all the information you would need. Goodluck!

Yeh, i do think i liked the view a little better on the OCAMs though these look nicer. As long as i could see what i needed to and they didn’t vibrate excessively i was happy, these do that so ive got no complaints
