I could easily listen to a 2 hour podcast hosted by San Halo; his voice is so peacefully vibrant as he speaks on his ideals as a artist. I found it refreshing to hear how he genuinely values the authenticity of his art & how encouraging it can be to have a manager/team who believes & respects those ideals without pushing him to only make radio hits that all sound the same. His compassion to understand all viewpoints of life, his truth in the price payed for fame and glory, his quest to find true joy makes me feel like my journal came to life or was reincarnated through him. Thank you, San Halo! Awesome interview, wish I was interviewing you myself!

1:14:30 If you're a singer a voice and that's your sound. But as a producer you have to find your sound, your voice in the way you produce things, the way you mix things, master things, the sounds you pick. Love this part because it's very relatable for me.

1:01:10 I love this part because it showcases how todays social media environment is able to push talent to a way bigger audience. I mean, I'm not into football or cooking but hell yes I want to see some epic tricks or extra ordinary way to flip pancakes. San should definitely do more of these talks, really enjoyed this.

I think the last point on what a producer should do to get to his position was the best. The point on being passionate about what you do is very true and especially in the since that if you don’t happen to make it , you won’t be upset and you’ll continue to do it for the love of the passion ! Great podcast guys!

Yamaha Portasound VSS-30. You might find one on ebay at a decent price. Just be prepared to get in a bidding war. Personally I paid $160 for mine. You won't find many under $100 sadly... Another option is seeing if any stores around you have them. Heard stories of people finding these in thrift stores for literally $5 to $10.
