I still remember when i 1st saw this movies in my teens I thought what a cool movie but it’s ending was somehow disappointing for me. Bcoz his mistake was still not big enough to be punished so damn badly. Then i saw the original “Old Boy”and that made me think what if Zinda also had the same ending it would’ve been 1. Dark AF 2. Way ahead of its time. I still they think they should’ve gone with the ending of the original movie rather than tweaking it for the Indian audience.

Oldboy 's ending was really dark and the main hero does not have that big mistake because the villan had the relationship with his sister and he was doing it in school. The hero didn't tell it to anyone but his friend and his friend spread it. So it was not justified to give him that punishment.
