Thanks for the review I am bigger guy with smaller wrists and early on in my watch collecting hobby/ addiction I constantly purchased watches in which the specs were just a tad too big, they’re still wearable but as for the comfort level of a 39x48 or a 40x47 it’s proportionally just on point, makes such a big difference. Definitely has changed what pieces I purchase now. I also own a Smith’s Everest, Lorier Neptune, and a couple of newer smaller dimensioned Swiss Auto timepieces and this thing looks like a solid addition in many ways especially for the fact that it’s just simply a great bargain that you don’t have to worry about. Definitely like what San Martin is doing with their models as well as the fit & finish and overall looks. Thanks for the video, looking forward to finally grabbing a San Martin as they seem to be the best of the bunch.

Really enjoyed your review. Love to see a comparison between the SM and Smiths, when SM comes out with their 36mm. One advice about your review. Avoid bouncing the watch back and forth in front of the camera. Great job.

Just curious why they refer this to as an explorer homage? It is a direct homage to the Tudor bb41 or bb36 except for the hands. Nice watch.

This one started as a explorer honage and they did this “limited edition “ with this dial. But yeah your right. But thats how they call ir in aliexpress because this watch started as an explorer

I have the 37mm version with a PT5000 movement. I particularly like it because it is NOT a direct homage of anything, and the quality is outstanding for the price. Made in Japan or Swizerland, this watch would cost three times as much

It’s actually very comfortable, if you use it with the bracelet, when you take it out of the bracelet you can feel all the rough edges on the watch case but nothing to mayor, i cant feel a thing wearing ir

i have tried both and the new one is waay better, in so many ways. but this one is not a bad choice at all is an incredible watch. very well built, you cant go wrong with san martin

@@AndySTWT The 39mm is okay but 36mm Explorer-style dials will always be better by default. The proportions just work better on a 36mm than a 39mm

It is not a Real nh35 movment inside. if this were the case, it would not drive the second hand when setting the time at it does on your Video. 🧐

@@AndySTWT I didn't say it wasn't a hacking movment. i just said that an nh 35 doesn't send the seconds hand back the way it does on your video when you put the watch on time. it’s pretty straightforward to verify whether it’s a Chinese counterfeit or a genuine nh35. : the manufacturing quality of the parts and the cleanliness of the assembly.

This is a homage to somewhat an blck bay 36 but with Mercedes hands, what i meant is that this watch is taken from an explorer homage from san martin just with an other dial. For me is a combination of the explorer 39 and the blackbay 36
