Looks almost like a CL version of the Napoli concept of not winning any alpha or DPM awards, but with the sheer tankiness to sustain it through a lot of fights other CL's would just get blapped.

the guns reinforce that notion too, you have to be deep in flanks shooting at enemies sides to get any dmg but luckily you can spam heals to stay alive there and you can even make dds fuck off

It will heal back 80% of both citadel and pen damage. So if you can keep the heals reloading fast, you're very tanky indeed.

@@chronographer I think for the T10 it's even 85%. The T8 and T9 it's 80%.

@@sdi1416 'Only...' But you're right, it's 80%, which is still by far the best in game. Even Mino only heals back 50%. Most of the time it's 10%.

The insane healing potential is the selling point of San Martin I guess, but her damage will be very dependent on map and MM, even more so than Worcester and radar Minotaur. I'm really looking forward to getting her regardless, I love this type of close range aggressive cruisers

I can see this thing being very helpful for drawing enemy fire at times. With its utility and survivability of healing 85% cit/pen damage. Remember, salves thrown at you is not thrown at your probably ape teammates.

Got the T9 in my first random bundle. So far this like seems really fun and strong. The combination of the light armor, uber heal, torps and combat instructions makes it pretty unique. You can get away with a lot of pushing. I literally yoloed T10 BB's and torpes them just because they could not kill me fast enough.

Would have loved to see you radar that DD in the first game at the start, it was inside radar range briefly and you had support out wide to engage it. But yeah, I am loving this line of light cruisers, can actually take a chance and be aggressive.

I am from chile, id say the best way to pronounce martin is "Marteen" I love my AA worcester, so i am exited to get a worcester with torpedoes lol

Yeah, they also balanced the pan-asian light cruisers pretty well, even if some people say they're not very good. I think they are good, not amazing but not bad. Just balanced and that is very nice. Seems to be the case with these ships too.

​@@maltemejlstrup4746 Jinan is actually a pretty damn good ship if you know how to use it. Wargaming has actually had some surprisingly good balance for some of these non-Russian ships. Regolo is another example of a ship that can really excel when played right but requires some skill to do right. It's nice to be rewarded for playing well instead of ships like the Thunderer or pre nerf Petro.

Taking away an entire consumable slot from a line focused on consumables seemed like a bit of a weird move on WG's part, but these still look like some of the better designed ships that the game's seen in a while. I don't see the low-ish damage as an issue either. Constant damage creep is majorly contributing to the now regular blow-out matches, so the last thing the game needs is more of it. Too bad that superships are a thing, pushing the envelope on damage even further than it ever needed to be.

With nearly 10 minutes of radar in a 20 minute game this seems like a no brainer for the 4 point radar skill instead of top grade gunner. Having that skill would make you aware of when to use your radar and push DDs back to your radar range. Combined with the quick cooldown you would be a real menece to all of the dds.

Cochrane should hace been the tier 8 ,9 or Even 10, Thomas Cochrane fought for the independence of chile, Perú, Brazil and greece. He su k half the fleet of Napoleón when he was on the royal navy u.u underrated

Quite sad to see Cochrane's name be used on a fake mid tier ship. Should've definitely been saved for something more worthwhile considering the magnitude of his service towards both LatAm and Great Britain, be it a higher tier ship, or at least a proper battleship like it was intended with the second Latorre-class. Knowing his history, it feels a bit insulting to have his name be put on a fake T6 while Lord St. Vincent's name graces a T10 BC.

I wonder how it'll fare on passive maps or versus a really passive enemy team. I think once people learn what they do they'll just run away and ignore it. Looks fun, though

These are leaving the tech tree. They will becoming back to the armory maybe. I personally say that they all are capable and fun ships. I personally recommend the gorn and hayate. Gorn is insane in a smoke but it is gimmick boat. Hayate is fun boat, think Japanese gearing. It’s detection is it’s only downside at 6.1 but it can out gun any non gun boat and out torp any non torp boat.

None of them are a must have cause there are better options in the tech tree.

There's 4 fxp ships leaving soon, the Groningen, Azuma, Agir and Hayate. The Azuma has a very high credit income as far as I've heard, the downside being worse armour than the Yoshino and no torps. The Groningen is great, has crazy DPM and a good smoke and hydro, no torps again. Agir is great if you play brawling cruisers, but its armour isnt the best, and its secondaries arent as good thanks to the commander rework. The Hayate is a gunboat-torpboat hybrid, and its sorta like a Japanese gearing as someone else here said. Of these, the Azuma is probably a great ship to pick up if you want a good consistent credit earner, the Groningen and Agir are nice fun ships to play with and you can have good enjoyable games. The Hayate is a questionable pickup given its cost, but if you can afford it and dont mind the playstyle, its still a decent ship. I wouldnt say any of these are "Avoid", theyre all good ships.

I don't know why they are releasing ships that are all the same... Brisbane, Worcester, San Martin does the same thing but a little bit differntly. Why we cannot see a twist of a Hinderburg playstile... Push, kyting away, use acceleration to dodge incoming shells; no, every time... sit behind island and spam spam all the game. We need something different.

Honestly their rate of development when it comes to ship is/was so fast. I would prefer twice as slow rate of development but more/better maps, gamemodes, etc. Sooner or later they will run out of lines to add
